A players or A positions? the strategic logic of workforce management

In teams read the article and  provide answers to the following:

1.- Define "A player" and "A position"

2.- How these two can contribute in the organization strategy?

  1. 1. A player: this is the key person who take the initiative within of a high hierarchy position, is considered like the fittest worker for lead required functions for the company.

    A position: Established positions within a company that simply can´t afford to have too many multifunctional employees inside it, if not that each one put it in the appropriate position depending on their profile.

    2. It is very important to have a well defined position that helps us to be clearer the needs of the company, for this there are job profiles where you get more relevant data than is required within a position, this is to find that ideal person able to perform the functions required depending on the vacancy or position.

    1. You clearly presented the concept of the "A player", however, the definition of "A position" does not define what that term is.

      On the contrary, your reflection about the impact of the players and positions is accurate.

  2. 1.-A player:
    this is people are the prapler for the organization which are based in the strategi so take on the activities the bussines
    A positions:
    There the wise place where the players could be ansreve and roll abilities and guide the subordinates and acanplish more lasting in bussines
    2.-just like A player and A position are important to the organization the wise place in the bussines where could be found the players need to have to take on activities that take grate interesting generaiting and probating ideas to make better activities but the A position is not always occupied by a A Player

  3. 1.- A player is any element of an organization which differs for his skills and aptitudes. The player can be clasified like A, B or C being a the one with more potential.

    A position is the place that a player occupies inside of an organization. The clasification of the positions is determined in base of the knowledges, skills, aptitudes, etc. independently of being the player A, B or C.

    2.- If the correct players are assigned to the correct positions, or if a reengineering is done in the organizational structure it is posible to contribute to the achievement of the organizational strategy.

  4. 1.- A player, is the employee highly capable of fulfilling the main functions that the company needs to achieve its objectives. This is located in front of departments whose tasks are important to move forward, since this depends on the success of the strategy that the company needs to be # 1

    Is the position that has strategic impact and variability in performance. It has nothing to do with the hierarchy that exists in the enterprice. The carrying out their functions has high impacto n the success of the Company.

    2.- First we need to know the organization, to develop the objectives and the goals.
    This is very difficult to say, but the “A” players with the “A” positions are the engine of the organization. Because the A players are in the top of the players, keeping the A players is the best option, why? This players is the best, because they support and have the potential to grow in the organization.
    In order to keep “A” players we need to encourage in different ways.
    While in the other hand we have The “A” positions, this positions can make a good result for the organization. One of this characteristics are the high performance and the upside potential.
    These two can contribute in the organization strategy by combing them together, we would have the right employees in the right positions so they perform their best. Helping the employees contribute to the success of the organization.

  5. 1.-They both contribute to organize on how to hire employees and to be able to put them in the right positions to make the business successful. They contribute to most of the company's success to make tough decisions. Evaluating each position to ensure high standers and then measuring peoples criteria. Both to be on the same plan in order to work in a high performance. Both positions also require to have a level of investment.

    1.- The work force of each company is based on its player, since this is the essential in any organization
    It is the position that has strategic impact and variability in performance. It has nothing to do with the hierarchy that exists in the company. The performance of its functions has a high impact on the success of the Company.
    2.- We must know everything about the organization in which we are its mission and vision so we can work setting goals and goals to grow.
    The goal is to manage the portfolios of positions so that the right people are in the right jobs, paying special attention to their positions, to my point of view players A and those of position A are main elements to work in team To reach the goals of the organization
